San Augustin Slaw
Serves 8
- ½ Head Shredded Red Cabbage
- ¼ Cup Diced Green Onion
- ½ Cup Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbs Heavy Cream
- 1 Tsp San Augustin Datil Pepper Table Sauce
- 4 ½ Tbs Sugar
- 1 Tsp Salt
- ½ Cup Water
In a mixing bowl add water, cream, salt, sugar, vinegar, and San Augustin Datil Pepper Table Sauce
Beat in the egg.
In sauce pan bring the mixture to a boil and let it reduce for 8-10 minutes
Chill mixture until 40 degrees
When cooled down, add the mixture to cabbage and green onion. Toss to mix
